Microsculpture’s Printed On Dibond Captures Beautiful Tiny Insects

Photographer, Levon Biss, makes the microscopic world visible to the unaided eye. His exhibit, Microsculpture, is a macro photography project that captures insects in all their detailed-glory on large-scale printed Dibond aluminum composite. What started out as a side project in his home, featuring bugs caught by his son, grew into a dream project worthy of entomologists from the Oxford University Museum of Natural History.

UK Artist Creates Captivating Exhibition Using Several Different Substrates

Genesis Imaging, in London, recently completed a large-scale exhibition project for artist Gayle Chong Kwan’s ‘Anthropo-scene.’ The project utilized several different substrates, in large and small format, to include, “…Direct to Media UV prints on Dibond, marine plywood and glass, Lambda C-type prints, Giclee Fine Art prints and Bespoke framing for the multilayer installation that explores the built environment, strata and waste, in relation to the City of London,” according to experts at Genesis.

Restaurant Rebranding Honors Local Famous In Digitally Printed Wallpapers

The graphics specialists at Oasis Graphics Co., in Berkshire, UK, were commissioned to assist in the redesign of the Pizza Express restaurant chain back in 2012. Their design/architectural clients were interested in their production and installation capabilities for the restaurants’ bespoke graphics in four locations.

Artist Wallpapers 3D Rooms In Famous Artworks

The series, “Brand New Paint Job” by Canadian artist Jon Rafmann, utilizes Google 3D Warehouse models as templates for his artist renderings of famous works. He, in essence, “wallpapers” these rooms with art exposing the idea of what if a canvas hadn’t been the artists’ preferred substrate, but interior design instead.
