Architects Rejuvenate Cultural Services Center by Upcycling 200 DIBOND® Panels In Creative Installation

© Andrea Zanchi The Centro Servizi Culturali Santa Chiara is a cultural services center situated in the northern mountains of Italy, in the province of Trento. The Center offers cultural arts events to the public, such as musical and theatrical performances, and historical installations as well as meeting and event spaces. Along with the Center's two theaters, an adjoining urban park links different parts of the city attracting people of all ages and cultures. Unfortunately, part of the Centro Servizi has been uninhabited for ages and in a severe state of disrepair despite the fact that it is partially protected by "Sovrintendenza dei Beni architettonici", a cultural heritage committee. Except for graffiti of a modest artistic level, there are offensive and xenophobic writings on the walls, evidence not only of urban but also civil decay. Local architects Elisa Burnazzi and Davide Feltrin, co-owners of Burnazzi Feltrin Architetti, have rejuvenated the entry way to the Centro Servizi by upcycling approximately 200 DIBOND® panels recovered from billboards used to advertise past performances at the Centro Servizi.

Promotional Hoarding Design Allures with Vibrant Illustrations Mounted to DIBOND® Aluminum Composite Material

©JuliaHamilton/OneAnother Containerville, a Max Barney Estate development, provides affordable self-contained office spaces for start-ups and small businesses in East London. A neighborhood formerly recognized as London’s manufacturing and industrial hub has been transformed over the years into a cultural arts and innovation center. A recent marketing campaign for the real-estate development utilized a hoarding design which adopts a trend-forward approach and speaks to the local community’s artistic fluency. The design was managed by Art Director and Partner at OneAnother, Paul Hamilton. Paul had previous experience branding former campaigns for The Estate Office Shoreditch and was contacted once again for the new development – Containerville, managed by a former Estate Office Shoreditch member and now entrepreneur of the Max Barney Estate. Paul commissioned Chris Bianchi and Stephanie Von Reiswitz from LeGun who also had experience in previous campaigns, to produce a palette of nearly 100 individual illustrations which would then be colored and combined to create a variety of marketing materials.

Contemporary Artwork Created with Dibond® Reflects Museum’s Exhibition with Bold Contrast to Neo-Gothic Architecture

© Ian Kirkpatrick DAVIDSON, N.C. (Feb. 13) – The Oxford Museum of Natural History received nearly 100 proposals from artists asked to create contemporary art to coincide with the museum’s temporary exhibition entitled “Settlers: Genetics, geography and the peopling of Britain” (https://oumnh.ox.ac.uk/event/settlers). The selected bold style of contemporary artist and graphic designer Ian Kirkpatrick (www.iankirkpatrick.ca) would serve in sharp contrast to the Victorian neo-Gothic architectural design of the museum founded in 1860 in Oxford, England.
