Suspended Sound Installation Uses Uniquely Laser-Cut Dibond Panels

Tessel, David Letellier, LAb(au), MediaRuimte, Roger Tator, Dibond Tessel is a collaborative kinetic sound installation by French composer/artist David Letellier and Lab [au], an electronic arts studio. The suspended installation utilizes intricately folded Dibond aluminum composite sheets integrated with audio transducers. The Dibond was laser cut into 40 triangles, 12 of which were fit with motors and eight with the sound transducers. (more…)


Small Town’s Historical Timeline Realized With 76-Foot Dibond Mural

In Utica, New York, a $250,000 grant was awarded from National Grid to the Bagg’s Square Association, which enabled the association to develop a large Dibond paneled mural, designed by Michelle Truett. Project FishTales Takes A Village To Complete Using Dibond

FishTales, Artist, Danielle, Mailer, Torrington, Connecticut, Dibond, Aluminum, Composite, Material, Photography, The, New, York, TimesBright neon colored fish made from Dibond aluminum composite material makes up a 22 by 186 foot art installation in Torrington, Connecticut. The artist responsible for the colorful exhibit, Danielle Mailer, conceptualized the vision when it was determined that the wall at the town’s Staples center was an eyesore. Gayle Chong Kwan, Anthropo scene, Bloomberg SPACE Genesis Imaging, in London, recently completed a large-scale exhibition project for artist Gayle Chong Kwan’s ‘Anthropo-scene.’ The project utilized several different substrates, in large and small format, to include, “…Direct to Media UV prints on Dibond, marine plywood and glass, Lambda C-type prints, Giclee Fine Art prints and Bespoke framing for the multilayer installation that explores the built environment, strata and waste, in relation to the City of London,” according to experts at Genesis.
