Signage, at its best, has the power to grab attention immediately, convey a brand message, and even set the tone for what’s in store on the interior of a business. The capabilities of signage and what it can achieve when executed correctly is an important part of the branding process.
Genesis Imaging, in London, recently completed a large-scale exhibition project for artist Gayle Chong Kwan’s ‘Anthropo-scene.’ The project utilized several different substrates, in large and small format, to include, “…Direct to Media UV prints on Dibond, marine plywood and glass, Lambda C-type prints, Giclee Fine Art prints and Bespoke framing for the multilayer installation that explores the built environment, strata and waste, in relation to the City of London,” according to experts at Genesis. Danielle Durchslag and Ryan Frank are New York artists and creators of the towering “Wandering Sukkah” for the city’s inhabitants. The art installation features stacked Dibond aluminum composite trapezoids that are vinyl-painted in various colors. The sky blue, peach, pastel yellow, candy and red brick geometry was modeled after New York City skyscrapers, according to the artists. (more…)
